MAIN MAYA PRODUCTION PHASE
P3 Learners use 3D environment
modelling tools to construct a competent 3D modelled environment for use in a
game or animation, including:
a) floor area
b) texturing/materials
c) at least three textured
objects/props
d) rendering
You now need to create your corridor.
You may wish to start with a cylinder or a torus. Use the below tutorial.
Make sure that you are making it using the right dimensions - go to Maya>Preferences>Settings and set Working units to cm.
If you want to make a corridor you probably want it to be about 180cm high (so 180 would be your height setting).
MODELLING A CORRIDOR FOR
CONSOLE GAME TUTORIAL VIDEO
Use
the below video to help construct a science fiction corridor and then bespoke
it and add your own ideas and elements relevant to the brief.
After that you need to find a tutorial for modelling something to knock over (piece of furniture)
Your character needs to interact/see a solar system model either a scale down version or out of the window. This is not earth. Your character realises that...

good technical standard and quality.
D1 Learners create their own 3D modelled environment to a
high technical standard and quality. Learners create a
3D modelled environment with a high level of visual appeal, which fully meets the intentions of the final game
production
